Chests and dressers are always a smart purchase for children with smaller clothing. The children's bedroom furniture must be kept smaller in height in order to make it easy for the child to keep and take their clothes as well as other items in a manageable way. Some precautions must also be kept in mind before chests and drawers as it must be seen that they open and close smoothly and properly. It must be seen that the drawers have an automatic stop to prevent it from falling it unexpectedly over the child. Everything associated with the child must be done with extreme care and planning to avoid any mishaps.

Bookcases and entertainment centers are also gaining a lot of momentum and becoming an area of interest for children. Bookcases should always be kept close to a wall to prevent them from tipping over. By keeping furniture to a wall would help to save the child from any kind of injury. Make sure not to overload the bookshelves as it might fall because of the overweight. One can also attach bookshelves to a desk or chest. However proper cautions must be taken during the assembly work. Entertainment centers must also be handled with proper care and planning as there are equivalent risks involved in it. Assembly and weight distribution are the things that needs to be taken care of when placing the heavy items like television set or stereo system.
