The largest city in Malaysia is Kuala Lumpar the capital. The city is commonly referred to as KL in Malaysia.

Kulala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang is directly connected by the high speed train service which takes 28 minutes where as a car can take up to one hour.

KL proudly provides a home to an amazing array of cultural and historical vestiges handed down by a colourful past. It provides a home to a multitude of tongues, languages, religions, customs and quirks, plus a home to its three largest communities Indians Chinese Malays, and a multitude of lesser known tribes.

Today the original city centre at Merdeka Square is the core of the citys history. Buildings like the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the Royal Selangor Club, and the Old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station are gorgeous examples of British style.

The main shopping areas in Kuala Lumpur are the Jalan Tuanku,Abdul Rahman area, Jalan Petaling or Jalan Bandar area, and Jalan Bukit Bintang area.

A must for any tourist is Petaling Street the heart of Kuala Lumpurs original China Town and a bustling night market serving as a bargain hunters paradise. Petaling Street maintains much of its traditional atmosphere, particularly at night when vendors spread their wares out on the street. While it is possible to purchase anything from gems and incense to toys and t shirts here, enjoying the night market is really a matter of just wandering about and enjoying its sights, sounds, and energy. Incredible bargains amidst a melange of signs, shops, noise and roadside food stalls open until the small hours of the morning.

Night markets and street vendors are scattered around the heart of the city making it a vibrant and exciting place to visit. Different cultures compete to sell their produce and temples from various religions stand side by side, each with their own unique beauty and heritage.

Petronas Towers one of the worlds tallest buildings rise above the skyline of Kuala Lumpur, with a height of 1453 feet and, inevitably, they have become the symbols for the astounding growth that has taken place in Malaysia over the last two decades.

The Eye on Malaysia is the tallest portable observation wheel South East Asia. This giant Ferris wheel allows visitors to experience a 360 degree panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur during a 12-minute ride that goes 60 metres high. It offers a magnificent view of Kuala Lumpur.
