In Santa Barbara it is a year round tourist destination renowned for its warm weather. A visit to one of Santa Barbaras nine beaches is a must Butterfly Beach, Four Seasons Biltmore, the surf ripe Lead Better Beach and West Beach which offers calm swimming waters and lifeguards on duty.

The ocean is an expansive playground, offering every physical type of water sports from scuba diving to parasailing, sailing, seasonal whale watching, sunset cruises and kayaking. Santa Barbara boast one of the largest sailing rental fleets world wide.

The annual Fiesta originally called Old Spanish Days, celebrated every year in August. Fiesta, in Santa Barbara, is synonymous with food, music, and riotous parties, ranging from the annual Covarrubias Adobe Pre Fiesta Tea, to the Fiesta Pequera on the steps of the Mission. Fiesta was originally started as a tourist attraction, like the Rose Bowl, to draw business into the town in the 1920s. 80 years later, it has become a several daylong bash of Mexican food, Spanish dancing, and traffic tie ups all along State Street.

In Santa Barbara, shopping is more than materially rewarding it is a sensory delight. Over a day of strolling through quaint cobbled arcades amongst bubbling fountains, towering palms, cascading bougainvillea, historic buildings and fresh sea breezes, you will discover a whole new take on browsing and buying.

Santa Barbaras downtown is a popular party goers place and those looking for a stress releasing cocktail. Hundreds swarm to State St where dozens of bars and clubs line the down town strip.

The Waterfront stretches from Lead Better Beach,and past the Harbour. Along this stretch of incredible coastline you will find restaurants, shops, artists, and a bike trail. The waterfront is an important meeting place for locals during the Forth of July and First Night celebrations.

Mission Santa Barbara is where it all began for Santa Barbara. The mission is one of the most beautiful in the state and offers real historic insight. Many events are scheduled at the Mission and it continues to be a focal point of cultural and religious activity. Santa Barbara Mission known as the Queen of the Missions for its graceful beauty. It was founded on December 4th, 1786, it was the tenth of 21 Franciscan missions in California. It still functions as a church today.

Santa Barbara Wine Country is Californias newest world class hotspot for premium wines with 24000 acres of planted vineyards, and more than 100 wineries.
